1. Was at a stoplight turning onto an on ramp...with an older V6 accord

we were neck and neck and i started to pull but there was a slight hump and it chirped the tires and the invisible trac control kicked in (im an auto):-|

2. Was at another stop light and my lane ended...this older woman in a G6 GT started going fast...we were also neck and neck and i slowly pulled till she let off so i could go

2.2 holds it own!:)

Represent! Lol. I pulled away from a civic hatchback with what seemed like only a fart can exhaust on it on rt.100 going about 95+mph then I had to take an exit. Nothing special though lol

I'm impressed with the 2.2's performance, paired with the gas mileage when driven right.

Drove to PA yesterday. Took 84 to 684 to 287 to GSP to US1. US1 is stop-and-go kind of road, and the entire trip, including lots of "city" driving while in town was 35.5mpg average. Total length of trip was around 450-500 miles.

The 2.2 is quite impressive. Love the ability to get up and go at a decent rate, and also get some awesome gas mileage as well.

Tis true. Peppy enough for the city, while retaining good milage.

Aftermarket fucking blows though.

It's not TERRIBLE, it just takes some work finding things.

I'm just glad we've got ecotec's. Seem to be very reliable engines, and I'm perfectly happy with mine so far.

Well theres bolt ons and you can pull off forced induction, but thats true with any vehicle. TBH theres no super high quality parts out there. Theres not enough demand, Im not saying its shit, but theres not enough of a market for quality R & D

thought i would add to this list

it was the same stoplight as #2 in the OP...and it was a cute girl:cool:

the car was an older maxima (03 body style) and we both kind of rolled into it to see if we were gonna race...it sounded like she was WOT but not quite sure

but she too let off at the end so i could go ahead but we were door to door though:)
