Im waiting at a red light and this new eclipse, guessing 06+, with the pretty rims and after market exhaust pulls up next to me. Anyone in this situation knows the feeling when you know your about to engage in a highly illegal activity just to prove your cock is bigger then theirs lol. Anyways i hear him reving his piece of shit, i decide not to rev lol why would i want to give away my biggest secret of him hearing my BoV?, so i honk my horn back letting him know im ready to rock.
Light turns green, we both get on it, needless to say the shit wasnt even close. By the time i got to the next light i had to wait a good 6ish seconds for him to pull up at the light, distance between lights is about 1/2 mile. I see him roll down his window, so i roll down mine and he says "Who the fuck turbo's a pontiac?" and i say back "The person that is looking to get that expression when their doors just got blown off." He smiles, i laugh and we go our seperate ways... The end.

very very very well especially with the addition of the new mounts. Hooks right off the launch with minimal tire spin and takes off from there. Im going to undercut myself and be on the safe side with saying over 300whp. In theory 14hp/1lb boost gives roughly 196hp + 170hp stock = 366hp + tune + exhaust= 390ish hp and figure typical hp loss and you would assume 350ish is a safe number for whp. I wont know exact figures till i rip up a dyno but as you can see these are no play toy numbers. Engine is getting a complete bottom end rebuild mid june.
And yes i know im gonna get spanked by my dads vette.... just a matter if i can even keep up with it at all i would love to say..." so dad hows it feel knowing my 28k car just kept up with your 72k elite sports car?" hahahhahaha. Fuck though 500hp rwd is going to be tough to keep up with haha.

Bill hahn says he milked his solstices turbo up to 16psi but thats about all that turbo's got before you have to upgrade.
Impact240sx 05-07-2008, 09:49 PM Oh its a Hahn kit, so its a 16G. 18-20 is about as much as you'd want to run on one. Anything after that and its just blowing hot air. Seems to be a good kit tho. I'd say your right around what you think you are at the wheels, prolly 300-320 ish on a good tune. Remember always think guess the lowest number so your never disapointed lol. The dyno is the killer of hopes and dreams!

Amen to that bud. Hahn told me after 16psi you should really up to the S20G turbo and run 20ish and that + the hahn intake manifold your looking at power levels 400whp+. Trust me thats why im always saying 300whp because i dont want to be the douche bag claiming 370+whp and dyno at 310 lol. Regardless im happy with the results and cant wait to get official 1/4 time and dyno sheets.

I realize there will always be the select few like myself that choose to take their car to the next level but for the majority of them i want to be able to shrug off.

Nighthawk243 06-20-2008, 05:18 PM It should be compatable with both. The blocks are pretty much the same, the only real difference in the block is the fact that the 2.4L is bored out a bit more for the cylinders, but thats it.
The primary problem in putting the Hahn kit on the 2.2L is tuning the engine afterward... There simply isn't the vast amount of tuning options for the L61 as there is for the LE5.
Oh, if you do try to boost the G5, definately swap the clutch. Lol@Civics killed his stock one pretty quickly.
