Was driving domn the road today and raced a hyundai tiburon, it blew my doors in. Pulled up next to the guy at a light and said laughing " A hyundai just smoked me" , he laughed and said yup.. Turns out it was a gt v6 6speed manual, still amazed it smoked me that bad, I know I'm only a 4 cylinder but damn,... Time for some some serious up grades...lol
By the way I'm in a 07 2.2 base with an exhaust that's it...

ya unfortunatly the base g5 stock wont beat anything with 2 more cylinders lol. my car had a hard time with my buddies v6tib and mines a 2.4 with sri, exhaust n hp tune lol still beat it tho

Was it from a roll or a dig cuz i know i raced 1 from a 20 n a 40 roll and got smoked hard and then twice from a dig i won the first 1 by 1car and then lost the second by 3/4car but ya always try both cuz then u know where ur car stands against that car and as far a everything having 2more cylinders most but not all the new v6 mustang i think not so much SLOW!!!!

The G5GT is capable of taking a Tib, but the Base is hard.

Yeah the first was from a roll on, that wa'nt so bad, but from a dig he jumped from behind me and just flew passed me like it was nothing. I will deff be doing some serious modding in the near future. I know it was'nt my driving either because i've been racing motor cycles for a long time and know when to/not to shift , he just flat out had and I'm not happy that I got beat that badly...I might just have to put nitros on it just so I'll feel better for now Lol...

Or an automatic given the speeds (IIRC, Springer drives the 5 speed, so it would have the better gear selection at that speed than an auto could). If the Tib had the 4 Speed auto, it would be in a dead spot (My previous vehicle was gutless at highway speed... passing was dangerous in that thing...)

Tibs suck. I hate them. The last two generations LOOK really good in my opinion... but they are gutless.
