Antenna adapter doesn't fit

Bought a universal antenna adapter that says it fits G5s but none of the wires seem to fit. Am I just stupid, or do I need a different adapter.

Universal female connector plugs in fine to my new stereo just the adaptor side doesn't fit into the factory plug :/
