I purchased a brand new summit white G5 GT in august of 2007. I loved this car, and cared for it for the last 7 years. Most recently however I was involved in several fender benders due to icy roads this past winter.

-Pick up truck trailer hitch went through my front bumper and the trucks bumper also ruined my hood.

-Not two weeks later I came out to find the rear glass on my tail light smashed in a parking lot.

All this to say - the pride I had in my car quickly deteriorated, because I couldn't afford to fix it.

However, NOW things are all fine and dandy - and I ready to show it off. After 12 hrs of plastidip and other fun stuff, here is the result!

Actually looks like a good dip job, makes me want to consider doing mine. How much dip did you use and did you use a can or a gun?

i did 3 coats of base coat gun metal grey and three coats of the anthracite. I also used the spray gun... so it was in total around $340 in paint and supplies. Sorry it took me forever to get back to you.
