Just thought I would throw that out there, seems how no one has started a post about Thanks Giving yet.

This is my second night of eating.... I'm still full from last night and I've got another dinner to go to  . :)

happy thanksgiving!!

spent yesterday running the Royal Victoria Marathon 8km road race in the morning (before the rain) and had dinner with family in the eve, after a much needed nap in the afternoon due to little sleep the last few nights. but mmm mmm mmm was the dinner good!

today did some running around and relaxed :)

How did the marathon go?
it went really well, I beat my best time by over 3 minutes :). the weather was awesome, about 11*, a bit of overcast, and the sun was out till 11 or so. the people running the half marathon and the 8km race couldn't have asked for better weather. perfect for running! I felt bad for the people running the full marathon though, because it was just pouring cats and dogs at that point, for about 2 hours (so about half way through their run).

and I saw a bit of the story on the chicago marathon (was that the one?) where there was a really bad heat wave, and people were getting taken away in stretchers?

yup. A guy died but they later said it was from a previously existing heart condition that had nothing to do from the lack of water at the water stations. I guess it was like 32 C.
