Aloha Friends!

My 2007 2.2l automatic G5 sedan at 430K+ has started to misreport intake air temp data, posting 301 degrees farenheit and everything in between, as shown on my ScanGaugeII.

I salvaged a MAF sensor from the yard (along with the air box) but substituting them has not changed the distorted readings.

Any constructive thoughts, please?

Thanks!

Check the condition of the wires. The temp is calculated from the resistance in the sensor, so if the wires or connector are corroded, they will affect the temperature reading.

Thanks all for getting back to me.

The car was throwing a body module code; B2AAA or something like that.

Today it just threw code P0102 if I remember correctly. I cleared it with the scangauge so I'll need to wait until I'm out next.

A quick search says low voltage input.

More to come...
