yea that zzp bov is the remake of the tial that they sell. i recently bought it. what kind of sound does it make btw?
Its a very quite pssh pssh, lol hard to type.


so one question... how the hell are you going to change your belt when the time comes??? I don't see getting a wrench down to the tensioner pulley from the top of the motor now.
Belt tensioner can be accessed from the fender linner, or just remove 1
t-bolt clamp, 1 allen bolt and the MAF sensor plug and you can get to the belt tensioner. I see no problem.

Went out playin with the dash hawk.
After the 3" catback and a few minor tune changes.
Dash Hawk says:
2.20 ... 60'
8.74 ... 1/8 @87.6
13.28 ... 1/4 @110.
Gettin closer.
I need to get to a track
to see if this is accurate.

After playin with the dash hawk, I went out doing some data
logging with hpt. I took a screen shot of a section of the log.
Can't believe what just happened.

But it ran past the rev limiter and
past the wot shift rpm ????????

oh i saw that too.. so u overrevved? i thought that wasnt possible. iirc tho i think i may have done it a few times.

Interesting...

I have no idea about tuning the auto. So I can't help there.

But why only 11.5*? I'm sure you can get away with more.

chip it depends...timingwise...

i was only getting away with 7* but if hes getting knock at 11.5 then it would have to be lowered anyway.

I can't understand why it reved to 7550.
Stock WOT shifts on left.
Tuned WOT shift on right.
From what I understand that at WOT (88%TPS)
the shift points use the vehicle speed chart first,
if thats not met then it defaults to engine RPM.
So it should have shifted at 71mph or 7000rpm
Both were met on the above log........... idk ?
still workin on the tune (baby steps)

Long time no post but just thought I'd add.........
Cherry is still going strong, no engine or trans issues with the turbo installed :)
Best time so far is 13.4 @104 with a 2.17 60' and that is at 4200' elevation :)
