I just installed Eibach Sportlines on my Cobalt LS 2.2l and have posted this question on every forum I have an account on. So some have seen this, some havent. Ive been getting mixed answers like crazy, thats why I keep asking.
i didn't when i installed mine and everyone i know who has them didn't cut theirs either. i've heard some people claim that it could shorten the life of your shocks by cutting them, but i don't know about that necessarily. either way, i don't see how it could hurt by leaving them the way they are, so you might as well leave them and not take the chance - and also save a little work at the same time.
