So I got T-Boned yesterday while making a left turn. Got a ticket for failing to yield right-of-way and I'm probably looking at an insurance hike. Court date has yet to be determined and the insurance company hasn't gotten back to me on whether its worth fixing, or if its totaled. Here's the damage:

I am currently at fault, but I will be fighting it in court because the foliage on the corner is what kept me from seeing

You guys think I have a chance on getting the fault removed from my record if I fight it? I'd like to avoid having a misdemeanor traffic violation on my record.

You could probably get it reduced but i doubt you could fight it all together.

As far as the car goes, looks like it'll probably be a write off, but I'd look into buying it back and either fixing it up or parting it out.

Crap man, that blows. I see what you mean about the foliage blocking your view down the road. Not sure if you can prove that as a cause for not yielding. Did the cop determine the speed of the other car?

sent from my nexus using stupid autoguide.com app :(
