I have a new throttle body for my 07 G5. I am ready to install it. After reading a bunch of posts I think I will need to know how to teach the throttle body the idle relearn procedure after I install it.

Can someone please share with me (if and) how do i relearn the throttle body its proper idle?

It's like disconnect battery while installing TB. Once installed clear any DTC's stored in the ECM. Start car and let idle for 3 minutes, then shut it off for at least 60 seconds.
Repeat procedure 3 times idling only. But good luck, it may or may not learn idle airflow.
I had high idle issues for 2 weeks or so, but just keep driving it and it will relearn. I tried everything including flashing ECM and only drive time fixed her.

Thank you for the reply.
This looks like it would be pretty easy and I do a lot of repairs and other stuff on my car. Is this something I should pay to have done? I don't know how to flash the ECM.
