I took off my badges without any problems as well as the old dealership logo.
I have Go gone as well as Bug & Tar remover (I do not have a heat gun, but I do have a hair dryer) I can't seem to get the rest of the glue off(shown in the pictures)

Unless you like rubbing off the melted paint from that area as well, sure.

Suggestions:
1) Blow Dryer
2) Rubbing Alcohol
3) Goo Gone (don't know the affects with this and car paint though)

Goo gone. They make some that is safe on paint. Be sure to clean and then wax the area when you are done.

3m specialty adhesive remover.

Then buff it with nufinish scratch remover,

I used goo-gone on mine, without any ill effects to the paint.

That 3M adhesive remover #03618 works real well.

I have some goo gone and I removed all the Arrowheads and GM logo's as well now and they all came off without a hitch. It's just where the Pontiac lettering was that is a pain in the ass. I have not tried a hair dryer but I will do that today. Should it be on low or high?

spray WD40 or Goo Gone on the effected area and use you finger nail lightly to remove adhesive then wipe again and wax away......worked on mine

Should probably try low on the blow dryer.
