I wish I could take a picture of my gauge cluster at night :-( My car (which I should have named Gremlin) is still in the shop. It seems like everyone is always on vacation at this place?

Is the cluster background light actually purple, of is that a lighting effect you manipulated on your device?

Its actually purple. I soldered in LED bulbs. The gas gauge is pure orange now tho bcuz the UV i had in there blew. I figured it wouldnt last w/o a resistor since it was rated for max 12.2V. The other ones should be fine tho

Wait, that's the wrong color.
Yes I am aware, but due to not having alot left of my Sunburst Orange II, I'm using a similar enough color and blending the topcoat to match

Pre-Wet Sand Blending, looks pretty close in color to me. Hard to see the spray irregularities in the photo but theyre there

Just 1 more light gloss, but she's pretty much done. The gloss helps hide some of the unbalanced areas

Remember my pretty colorful cluster? Well here's a revamp, since almost all the purples blew.

After much aggravation, mysterious paint nicks and uncooperative bolts, the wing is mounted. 'New' Emblem is mounted too. Just waiting for the goop to dry

After running around with her a bit, I can definitely feel the difference between this, no wing, and the low rise. Its not much, kinda feels like the difference between an empty tank n a full tank of gas, but it's noticeable enough

Looks like you did some good work there. Any more progress?

Been busy with some stuff, slowly working towards throwing the blower on. Still gotta get headers, gauges, a wideband, and HPT. As well as a functional second vehicle to use whilst I do the build (might have(?) non-running N* to work on soon)

Currently tryna figure out this radiator fan. I swapped the old one out cuz I thought the motor was dead (was the fan resistor in the shroud, replaced that, wanted to upgrade fan anyway) with a dual 2 speed fan and just blew 2(3 if the original was good) 30A fuses today cuz the amp draw is high enough to make the 30A pop audibly n visually. So waiting for the seller to get back to me on the wattage to be able calculate the amp draw for parallel fan motors.
(They replied, they don't know)
Though since they should be the same 2 speed motor as the stock one, anyone know what the peak & continuous amp draw of the stock fan motor is @ Voltage?
