Well this is my first how-to I have ever done so will try to do my best.
2007 Pontiac G5 Base Model Used for application (My Car)
Material Needed for both key holes or trunk lock plugs:
Hillman Variable Push Fastners GM H#881200 (Sold at Lowes 2 per pack $0.80)
Hillman Variable Push Fastners Chrysler H#881198 (Sold at Lowes 2 per pack $0.80)
Box Cutter with Good Blade (be careful)
Color Matched Paint (Mine is on order)
First is the key hole plugs:

Step one:
You need to cut off the little stub at the end circled in red.
Step two:
You will have to shave little by little the sides leaving the raised pieces intact (Green Circle). Using another set I was testing with you will get the idea in the second picture.

Step Three:
Test fit.

Step four:
Paint. (Now I know my color doesn't match but I have ordered some from the dealer but wanted to get the point across in the post.)

Now I will suggest maybe some silicone for security and to hold in place a little bit better.
Second we have the trunk lock:
Material Needed:

Color Matched Paint (Your Choice If You Want to Paint Them)
Step One:
Cutting. Cut the nub at the front just like the key hole plugs. Shave flat to where it will fit into the lock. The hardest part of this is the base circled in red has to be cut flat enough to go in the lock to.

Test Fit.

Step Three:
Paint.
Now I have decided not to do this right now but it is your choice.
